Order
Yes, we ship all over the world. Shipping costs will apply, and will be added at checkout. We run discounts and promotions all year, so stay tuned for exclusive deals.
It depends on where you are. Orders processed here will take 5-7 business days to arrive. Overseas deliveries can take anywhere from 7-16 days. Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email.
Yes we do. If you add a gift message in the comment box on the 'Shopping Cart' page, we will gift wrap your items unless otherwise directed. You can also specifically request items to to be gift wrapped using the comment box.
It is our policy to remove price tags from all items when purchased, both in-store and online.

Store & Online
Due to many factors our online store only features about 1/3 of our range at any one time. If you have spotted something in-store and would like to see if a custom sale is possible please contact us at websales@acquisitions.co.nz
Our apologies for this. The staff member may not have been aware that we only stock a selected range of items online. Items may also no longer appear online if they are very low in stock.
Being a gift store we don't put a paper invoice in any of our orders just to be safe. All of the invoices and confirmations are emailed to the purchaser.

Shipping
Items purchased online are generally sent from the nearest store that has the items in stock. This won't always be the store closest to you. Because of this we can't currently offer a 'Click-and-Collect' service.
Generally we only ship within New Zealand but if you live in another part of the world and have found something that you really can't live without please contact us at websales@acquisitions.co.nz to see if a shipping arrangement is possible
We are happy to and can easily organise this but the delivery fees are higher. If you wish to enquire about a delivery to the Chatham Islands please contact websales@acquisitions.co.nz

Payment & Gift Cards
Yes. Afterpay is available both online and in-stores.
Yes. LayBuy is available both online and in-stores.
e-Gift Card: Are sent by email or SMS. You can choose the delivery date and time.
Gift Cards: Are physical plastic cards that can be purchased either in-store or online. If bought online, they can be sent via postal mail to the address specified by you or picked up at the designated store.
Once you have added all your items to your cart click on the shopping cart icon at the top right of the page. Add your Gift Card number into the 'Gift Card Number' field just above the 'Check Out' button toward the bottom right of the page.
NOTE: If there is a shipping fee to pay you will need to use some other method (credit card, PayPal, etc.) to pay for this as the gift card redemption happens prior to the shipping fee being calculated.
Your gift card will not work online if it has been used up already (you can check your balance here). Otherwise, only 'Original Acquisitions Gift Cards' can be used in both in-store and for our online store. Unfortunately 'Gift Station' cards can only be redeemed in our physical stores, not online. These cards are sold and maintained by a separate company, usually from stands in supermarkets and other locations (the Gift Station logo is located on the back of the card).
e-Gift Card & Gift Card contains no value until activated at point of sale or checkout.
e-Gift Card & Gift Card can only be used to purchase goods at Acquisitions stores or online (acquisitions.co.nz).
e-Gift Card & Gift Card may not be returned, redeemed for cash or topped up.
e-Gift Card & Gift Card expires 12 months from date of purchase.
If you are purchasing a e-Gift card as a gift, it is your responsibility to check the delivery email address is correct. Acquisitions can’t be held responsible if a e-Gift card is used by someone else or if the gift voucher is lost, stolen or deleted.
A defaced, mutilated, altered, lost or stolen Gift Card cannot be replaced, refunded or redeemed.
When a e-Gift Card has been purchased on our Website, it can take up to 3 hours for the voucher to be sent to the recipient. If there is a delay Acquisitions can’t be held responsible.
We can’t take responsibility if a e-Gift voucher can’t be delivered to the recipient’s email address because of spam filters, firewalls, or any other factors outside of our control.
Validity date cannot be extended. Any balance remaining on the card after the date of expiry cannot be refunded or credited.
e-Gift Card & Gift Card can be used in conjunction with other Promotional and Discount Codes to purchase items.
e-Gift Card or Gift Card cannot be used to purchase other e-Gifts Card or Gift Card.
Promotional Codes can’t be used to purchase e-Gift Card or Gift Card.
If the value of your purchase is less than the value of the e-Gift Card or Gift Card, your spend will be deducted and the remaining balance can be redeemed when you next make a purchase.
If your order exceeds the value of the e-Gift Card or Gift Card, you can pay the remaining balance using another payment method.
When you return, part return, or cancel an order and a e-Gift Card or Gift Card, was used as full payment, your refund will be issued to you in a Gift Card. There will be no monetary exchange for returned or cancelled orders made with e-Gift Card or Gift Card.
When you return, part return, or cancel an order and a e-Gift Card or Gift Card was used as part payment, the refund will be made in the same way as the purchase was made (for example $10 gift voucher and $10 credit card would be returned in the same way).
